digital-cameraAre you a photo lover? There are plenty of beautiful places in this world we are living. Thousands of wonderful moments pass by. To make those special events of your life memorable you can have a picture of it to treasure the moment a life time. Because of our futuristic technology digital photography was founded. It is a device that can take a picture out from a digital camera. Images and information captured by its lens are transformed into an electrical impulse.

The first type of Photography was founded many years ago. It started during the civil war when America’s historical events were captured on film. Few  years later experts discovered numerous advancements in the field of photography. One of which is the digital camera. It was created by experts from Stanford University way back around 1960s. At that time, they made a videodisk camera that captures and stores images up to several minutes. Capturing and storing images through a digital camera is much more convenient than the old type of device.  Around the 70s, a company commonly known as KODAK applied digital photography in their projects. After the compact disk was discovered in the 80s digital camera improved its capability to store more images and information. Around the year 1990 digital cameras were released in the market. Because of its high technological feature market sales increased. This was considered as the first step of the digital photography.

Now that we have the digital camera let’s start learning some tips and ways on how to use it and capturing perfect images. First thing to do is off course to check and set your digital camera. Next is to position yourself.  To have a good picture you need to have an imaginary line on the screen. Consider two lines positioned horizontally and vertically in an equal manner. Then focus the subject any of the two vertical lines. Doing this will break the symmetry making your photo more artistic rather than a boring and formal one.  Sometimes this technique would make you feel unsatisfied with the output. Just keep on capturing the subject all over again until you will get the right angle you wanted.

Next is to choose for the appropriate background. If you are taking picture with a subject having a busy pattern the best background to apply is a simple one. This technique will help focus only within the subject not the background. If you don’t have a good background to choose from, just try to focus your lens towards the subject. This will make the background blurry. Doing this will also mask awkward backgrounds.

The next thing you need to remember is to have a good distance when taking a picture. Make sure that the subject is captured together with the environment. This will help emphasize your scenario. Different angles can also be taken depending on the light’s projection. To emphasize more on the subject’s details you can zoom in your lens. When doing this technique make sure that your hand holding the camera is positioned steady. You must avoid or minimize shaking the camera when in zoom mode since this can make the subject blurry. To add some effects on your background you can take pictures from a structured frame. Examples are windows, doors, and gates.

Another technique in taking picture is to have a unique point of view. This means that you must not limit yourself in taking pictures from an eye level. Just like, for example, taking a picture of your friend’s face from a low level point of view or from a high level.  This will help on adding some unique effects of your image. We all know that digital cameras are capable of printing photos through a computer printer. We have to remember that it is not only the taking of pictures that matters, but also the printing process.  When printing an image always remember to use the appropriate paper for the right ink. Furthermore, avoid printing on the wrong side of the paper. Just like, for example, the glossy one. Before printing you have to check first the printer if it is not low on ink. This will help you avoid having faded copies.
